Hi Nic, It looks like this part is available as a spare. On page 2C 06R of the late parts book it lists 817448 and 817449 " Bracket, mounting, rear suspension LH /RH " . If this is the correct part it looks like it is bolted and welded to the floor pan.
I couldn't immediatly find a supplier so it may be that you would have to find a scrap shell and cut one off.
Good luck with it,
Tony.

I'll have a look at my 2 scrap shells on Monday Nic, on 1, I think the floor has receeded in this area but the other might be ok. I'll get back to you, one way or the other!

Steve

I'm sorry Nic but it looks like you are out of luck here, one of mine is rotten, worse than yours, and the other has been cut through when I removed an entire quarter for Rob MacGregors Sprint racer and a chunk is missing. The N/S is intact but that's no comfort to you!

Fitchetts have quite a large stock of Dolomite panels and odds and ends that they don't advertise, its worth giving them a bell with the part number quoted above, you might get lucky!

I've just purchased a shell that should have a good rear mount. I will not be collecting it for a few weeks plus I need to check the car I'm repairing doesn't need it, so as long as you're not in too much of a rush I could have one available.

Glad to help, good luck with welding it in place, it took quite a bit to cut it off.

Nicely preserved by Richard Olds judicious application of underseal.
