If you don't have any luck with your search Mahesh,

I do have a pair of early sidelight/indicator units which I could sell,
but I am not prepared to split these.
We can wait and see if anything turns up.......?

Ian.

Many thanks Ian,

If you could PM a price I may be able to take the pair dependent on my own efforts.

With regards to just the rubber boot, I have anticipated low availability,
and am currently in the process of making my own out of thin flexible plastic
or metal, the template is almost ready.

I made a corrugated plastic version, but have not trimmed the flanges or siliconed the seams as I have a much easier option, which I will cut and install tomorrow.

So for now this is a waste.

Sorted, and fitted.

Two pieces of thin plastic cut and siliconed in place/sealed,
rubber boots and cabling put back.

Yes, I did paint them after taking the picture :D (black  )

Necessity; the mother of all invention! (apart from post-it notes, they, or rather their glue, was invented by accident!)

I've finally found the real thing now Mahesh, if you still want one!

I should note that your clever get round doesn't protect the earth connection - or the backs of the bulb holders!

Steve

Many thanks Steve, if you could hold onto it,
I am trying to make a trip.

The bulbholder backs are protected, as I transplanted the rubber boots, and put some paint for the earth,

But I was in a rush to complete and forgot about pics, as BMW central lock will not open vehicle, only drivers door with manual key operation.
