I've got a towbar, complete with tongue and electrics going for free.
I've just removed it from my Sprint.
Should someone be interested, please PM or email me.
Cheers,
Rob.

Ashley and Waynus,
If you pay for the shipping, I'd be quite happy to package the thing up and get it to you.

I still have this "FREE" towbar.
Although its been in the weather for 7 years, it is painted and is still quite serviceable.

I would love to have a towbar for my car! Will make it so much easier to bring some bikes or pull a small trailer. How much do you think the towbar weighs? Because I live the Netherlands, making a pickup not really likely. How much do you think shipping will be?

Thanks in advance

Laurens

A 50cm cube weighing 30kg is roughly £150 to £170 depending on the courier. Or you can get a brand new one from Watling Engineers who list the Dolomite in their price list for £132 (148€) plus whatever the postage is to the Netherlands. Must be someone local who could do something for you I would have thought?

Were the 'T' to be unbolted and it packaged as a long but thin item, I suspect you'd see shipping costs tumble....

I think you are right. It is probably cheaper to get one at a wrecker from the UK or even buy a new one from that awesome link you send.
Do you actually know how many Dolomite were sold in Australia ?
