My 1500fwd (now 1500TC) is offered free to a good home. I am under no illusions as to its condition: it does require a lot of work.

It is a tax exempt car in white with a good blue (vinyl) interior. It was originally a 1500fwd, but was converted into a 1500TC, and is registered as such on the V5. It has a towbar fitted. Unfortunately it never got completed as there was more work required than time allowed.

The work needed:
- New cills (inner and outer - great panels available from the club)
- Door bottoms are tatty.
- Boot floor requires repair
- Front end is 'lacking' - the tin worms have stopped holding each others' hands! The outer is available in GRP through the club and is excellent - as my other Dolly will attest! The inner may pose more problems.
- Engine and Gearbox - absent.

Spares
- Pair of GRP wings from Rimmers
- Replacement rear trailing arms
- new rear anti-roll bar
- New (rubber) bushes (front and rear suspension)
- New nuts and bolts (front and rear suspension)
- Front spoiler, interior parts, black fabric seats, black carpet (partial)
- Other components - various bits I've acquired towards it - cannot remember how much there is - will double check.

The car is located in Ripon - please contact me for further details, and I will add some photos later today, all being well.

This is not for the faint-hearted, but is still possible. It is a shame to let it go, but realistically I do not have the time or space to do it.

Thanks, Toledo Man for the resize!

This is still available - it needs to go soon. I'd love to have time / space / money / inclination to do it up, but don't. I really do not want to scrap it, but if no-one wants (or is able) to take it on, I can't see much in the way of an alternative...

Do I see an exhaust rear section? I'm in need of one and if it is for a Dolomite 1500/1500HL I'd like to take it off your hands if possible. I'm unable to take on this car (one is plenty enough!).

Sorry for the thread hijack.

Send the original poster a PM. I've removed your phone number to prevent "nuisance" calls & texts.

Welcome to the forum, by the way.

The car is still available, and cleaned, and I will try to find the other pictures to post on here. I've not had any PMs although I have had difficulties logging in at all - seems to be sorted now though!

I am guessing you want to pass this on as a whole but any chance of getting some spare bits from it??

Right, good folks, this needs to be gone in three weeks as the house is being sold where the car is stored...

I have had a few enquiries for the interior, but I'd still rather it goes to someone who will give it a chance! I will be putting it on Facebook and eBay later...

This has now gone to a new home for restoration! Well done, good luck and good on you!
