I have a gearbox for a 1500, in very good condition, that I am happy to give away in exchange for a donation to a charity that I am supporting. The gearbox is in SY10 8LF.

The charity event involves me cycling 100 miles on a fold-up Brompton, in aid of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, as below:

I have no idea what value to place on the gearbox. Please PM me with offers. I'll then let the winning person know. Remember, this is being given away in exchange for a charitable donation, so please dig deep.

Many thanks.

Regards,
Richard

Any interest? If not, it will go in the metal recycling at the tip, which does seem a shame.
Regards,
Richard

Last chance before this goes to be weighed-in, in one week's time. Charity donation anyone?
Regards,
Richard

Andy has persuaded me not to scrap this. It thus remains available in exchange for a suitable charity donation.
Regards,
Richard

Donation made, just to get you past your target and as a thanks for not scrapping it. If the gearbox eventually finds its way to me...so be it

Thanks very much Alun - great to have reached the target. The 'box will be there in its corner, ready for when needed.

Richard

Agreed. Donation made as a thanks for not scrapping it. Hopefully it means it can stay within the club as a stock item or spare.
Also it's a great cause to give to. Best of luck for the cycle ride Richard ( you nutter! :) )

P.S. I like your blog at www.ymgw.blogspot.com . www.ymgw.blogspot.com Really interesting.

Thanks for the donation Chris - very much appreciated.
Yep, I'll keep the box in the corner as a club spare.
Regards,
Richard
