Thanks Alun,

Is W for the Toledo? I only need the section that butts up to the door and sill, not the complete wheel arch repair. Sorry to be a pain but do you know if there is there a way I can rejoin the club via a PayPal payment?

Cheers,

John

Hi John,

No, 'W' is Dolomite.

'V' is actually two parts which can be sold separately; the rear wing repair at £57.50 and the arch lip at £28.00

Be warned, we can't get cills shipped onto the island; they are too long!

For subscription by paypal, see:

Hi Alun,

Thanks for the quick reply, rejoined yesterday. How much would a Toledo drivers side sill and rear arch lip be to a mainland address? Will speak kindly to the Mother in law for her to take them in for me!

Many thanks,

John

Good price for the quality of these parts. I've been meaning to get these for a while but want to get the Toledo back on the road ASAP. Can I send a PayPal payment and provide a mainland address?

Thanks for your help, John

You can use paypal, but state what you are paying for and that you've checked stock with me and leave a delivery address and phone number for the delivery address.

They will likely be delivered in separate packages.

Alun,

The Toledo has some rot in both wings around the headlights, N/S worse than O/S. On the N/S, it's spread from above the headlight around to the side of the headlight as well.

I have looked at a second-hand complete replacement wing for the N/S but that needs work in the eyebrow and chin areas as well - so it's marginal whether better to remove an otherwise healthy wing to replace with this one.

Looking at the parts catalogue, and being naturally stupid, I'm struggling to work out which part of the front the " 'Eyebrow' section of front inner panel" - part T - covers (assuming this is indeed the relevant part)! Can you clarify please?

The headlamp mounting panel is also rotten on both sides, but the car came with a pair of "M" inner repair panels, I'm currently telling myself that with the headlamp out the rot can be cut out and the repair panel fitted without stripping the whole wing off - the truth might be different though... :-(

Hi Ian,

James 467 has successfully repaired his inner panel with wings in situ; have a look at his restoration thread for pictures.

The eyebrow is actually a separate panel to the inner valance (I didn't write the description). If you have a parts book they are 818981/2; they fix to the inner valance and act as a mud shield under the joint between front wing and upper front panel, but also close off the side of the headlamp area beneath the wing. To fit eyebrows, you need to remove both wing and outer front panel.
