Due to the Dolomega project having a massive change of direction, I have a lot of new parts that I bought for the project which are now redundant and even more bits which I bought as part of job lots and no longer need so I am having a sell off to liberate funds and space. Listed below are just some of the parts I have for sale, I will add more to this ad as I unearth them.

And fear not, the Dolomega is still an ongoing project, in fact it's going quicker at the moment than it has in the last 3 years!

2nd hand o/s/r door, bare shell in very good nick and waxoyled inside Pimento red £70
2nd hand n/s/r door, has a couple of tiny dents and a scab on the lower skin, but the shell is mint, from a Ziebarted car. £40
2nd hand Dolomite n/s/r 1/4 c/w full inner arch, good useable condition, top of arch lip has been turned up for extra tyre clearance. £100
2nd hand Sprint brake load sensing valve complete with brackets and fittings, will need overhaul. £50 (may be posted)
2nd hand pair of Sprint half shafts with bearings and hubs MACHINED FOR MGF REAR DISC CONVERSION £50 pair.
2nd hand Sprint AUTOMATIC propshaft all joints good, centre bearing shot, £20
2nd hand AUTOMATIC gearbox crossmember with very good condition rubber mount. £20 (may be posted)
2nd hand Sprint/HL drivers seat in black cord. sound and tidy no rips or excessive fade/wear £35.
2nd hand but in mint condition, set of roof sound deadening pads for late HL/Sprint £20
2nd hand lower dash air vent/choke panels x3 all have slight damage to one or both screw fittings but still useable £10 each (may be posted)
2nd hand dashboard crash pads x2 for curved dash cars in good order £25 each
2nd hand dash panels, instruments and dash looms, loads in stock, 1500HL, 1850, Sprint. PM what you need! (I have NO spare Voltmeters!)
2nd hand heater box assembly with watertight rad and working valve for curved dash cars. £25.
2nd hand pair of self adjuster handbrake links for Sprint/1850/1500HL in good condition £20 each or £35 the pair May be posted)

Just in case! Full set of Rover 45 seats in black leather, perfect, unmarked condition, but has the less Dolomite friendly 2 piece rear seat backrest. £100 ONO

I specialise in saving the bits others leave on the shell when it's scrapped! If you want some hard to source little bit (like the wiring loom P clips) drop me a PM, you might get lucky!

More to follow when I get a chance to dig it all out and list it! Drop me a PM for more details or photos.
Most of this stuff is obviously too big or too delicate to post so assume collect only unless otherwise stated.

Steve

Hmmmmm the Sprint brake load sensing valve........now something tells me that wayyyyyyyyy back in the mid 80's last time I owned my Sprint that I removed it because it was seized.......now I've bought the car back I'm wondering if anyone ever put one back on it.......I doubt very much that they even knew or noticed it was missing!!! I guess being as it was always probably seized while it was on the car I know that once I took it off I never noticed any difference, I used to drive very wild back in the day and if truth be told I have moments even now where I'm not much better    So do you think it is a worthwhile thing to go to the effort of buying and refitting from a driving point of view or do they not make that much difference? I do feel that from an originality point of view that I'd probably like to refit one though. Are refurb kits readily available and for sensible money?
I'm thinking I'd like to say I'll have that please Steve subject to me getting to my car and checking that my memory is working properly!!

I'm often up around Oswestry / Shrewsbury way so if it's OK with you I'd collect and pay you cash?

Steve

Yup, this one is also somewhat seized! My plan was to connect it direct to a master cylinder and BLOW the piston out! The club has now had a rebuild kit commissioned for them, so they are available and not expensive!

As to whether they do owt, I would say yes! When I first built my Toledo with a Sprint axle and standard front brakes, I too neglected to fit the LSV and also drive "a bit wild" and gave myself quite a few brown trouser moments when the rear brakes locked prematurely, actually spinning me out once or twice! Not having access to an LSV at the time (2011) I fitted a much cheaper and easier to get pressure control valve from a Vauxhall Cavalier (cos I HAD one kicking about) which did the trick for a couple of years! Then I upgraded my front brakes with a Trackerjack conversion which eliminates the need for either the LSV or the PCV I fitted. The PCV is still there though, cos i'm too idle to remove it! So if you have TJs, you don't need an LSV, otherwise you do!

If you find that you do indeed lack an LSV (assuming no-one in the intervening period had corrected your faux pas) I will be happy to sell you this one, which came from my also TJ fitted Sprint! drop me a PM and i'll send you my address and phone number. Cash works fine for me!

All the best, Steve
