Before you all bite my head off, the shell of this car is TOAST, blackened and crispy with chunks crumbling off!

It was brought to me, running and driving for assessment with a view to repair, but it has been badly bodged so much and so often that it really IS beyond saving (the rear inner arches, all of them, not just bits, are made of cardboard, builders foam, mesh and undeseal) so I bought it, expressly to break for parts!

But it does have some redeeming features. The engine is sweet and on the button, the trans seems ok, has a minor leak from the dipstick tube otherwise good and shifts properly. the 3.63 axle is quiet. The interior is first class black including tidy carpets, 4 unmolested and straight doorcards and one of the nicest parcel shelves i've seen in many a moon. There is a period Motorola radio (must test this) in an original mounting bracket. Prize of the day is the full Rimmers Stainless exhaust system in great shape and with the labels still on each bit.
Bodywise, not much is worth saving, The bonnet is good and the boot fair, all 4 wings and all 4 doors are probably beyond redemption. 4 good tyres on stock rims with the early type shiny hubcaps. Rad seems ok and front suspension looks to be all good but the (dual circuit) brake master is bypassing a bit so only good for core.

Endless other bits that I can't be bothered to list, PM me with your needs/wish lists and I'll tell you whether it's OK or not and how much!

Sometimes, the needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few, or the one (mister Spock)

Steve

One other bit worthy of note, it has a brand new shiny Lucas fitting lightweight alternator, think this will fit all models, good for racers, i'll try and ascertain the amps output, it certainly charges like a goodun, 14+v on the car's meter!

I'd be happy to provide a home for the front bumper and bumper irons :)

Hi all, with the sale of the engine and trans yesterday, most of the good bits have now gone from this car!

Black seats and main carpets still available and lots of little silly season bits which are hard to find. But most of the good/big stuff has sold already, it's been like vultures circling a fresh kill here this last couple of weeks!

I will continue to take the car completely to bits, saving everything useful with my usual attention to detail. Nothing useable will be scrapped! So if you want unobtanium parts like a set of wiring loom P clips, drop me a PM!

Steve

Someone on the FB page (the non club one) was after a parcel shelf, I think it was Derek.

I'd be interested in front carpets, sill carpets and the piece under the rear seat if postage isn't a killer.
