Looking very nice Ken. A bit of work to do, but I am sure it will be well worth the effort. Don't forget about it now that it has been moved to the country!

The bodywork was about what I anticipated really. Been there, done that.

Just need someone to help me with the welding of the sill and related bits

The rest I can do when it travels back to London.

It'd be nice to get it running. If it runs ok then great, if not i'll be saving up for one of Jod's 1300 engines. Not sure about the colour coding though

Jobs to do:

Finish off the interior, if I can't sort out a blue carpet, then a black one will be sourced.
Sill on drivers side and maybe a jacking point or two.
Front wings will be replaced
Bits and pieces on the front lower valance
Couple of bits at the back of the rear wheel arches
Boot floor patch
Rubber thing for the exhaust
Service for the engine
Fit the various cylinders, bleed profusely.

Not that much then

What do we reckon she's worth as is, compared to when sorted?

What a miserable day, rain, rain, rain. Can't do a damn thing car orientated.

Am missing the Tolly actually. Was nice just to pop down the road and do some bits and pieces.

Want to get my teeth into some Triumphs again. Moggie Minor just not doing it for me.

Yes, miserable weather. Took the dog out this morning and was soaked in a horizontal rain shower. Later I washed the Toledo and was soaked in another shower and had very cold fingers after cleaning out under the wheel arches. Took the Toledo up to the farm to put it in a barn and on my two mile walk home I was pelted with horizontal hail. Then this afternoon I returned to the farm with the trailer to saw up some logs. Guess what? Rain, hail, wind. I am now drying out in front of a log fire!

We had sleet too  The temperature is dropping as we speak (type).

Anyway, I see a vision..... a Tolly:

With a nice white roof
De-bumpered front and rear ends
Uprated shocks front and rear
Stainless exhaust
Polybushes
Alloys - not Sprint ones

I see a poorer Ken (is that possible).

Hmm.

Good luck with it Ken, as Nick says - it will all be worth it in the end.

My engines are also available in standard colours for no additional charge :)

So far, we have a choice of Pageant 1300 (tuned to the max), Vermillion 1500 manual, Brooklands 1500 Auto. All others are in standard colour scheme. As far as I know the colour make no difference to the power output, but I could be wrong.

Nippy and reliable would suit just fine. I'm not sure whyat colour that would be.

t seems to have had regular servicing throughout it's life, so maybe it just needs waking up.

Bit of an update. Hopefully Nellie will be welded up and sorted out for an MOT when the weather improves and more natural light is available. What, so she's moving to Spain??

She will be a stripped down and non-standard Tolly. I want to have a bit of fun with this one. Not for purists is our Nellie.
