I've managed to get 3 doors fitted which makes a big difference. Also fitted the tunnel and a few other interior parts.

Will need to remove the fuel tank again to fit the rear bumper :snivel:

Dan,
a pattern fuel tank sits much higher than the original type but I am sure if you fit the bumper bolts from the outside then
as you think there will be no need to remove the tank.

Ian.

When I swapped my rear bumper centre section I didn't have to take the fuel tank out and I had to replace some of the nuts and bolts.

Bumper bolts are fitted from the outside anyway. :)

Isn't everyone forgetting the bolt securing the N/S corner section? I've never managed to remove or refit one of those with the tank in situ and because the captive is in the bumper, you can't do it from outside either!

Much easier to use a regular nut rather than the captive type. Simply hold with a carefully positioned ring spanner and tighten on the inside, job done.

Bumpers are fitted :) Fitted the bolts from the outside on the rear, a bit tricky but no too bad. 4th door is fitted too :D

It's getting to the exciting stage now.

I have changed the engine oil & filter, third time now! Wheel arches & underside wax oiled, sills painted mat black and wheel alignment checked. All doors sprayed with oil before trims were fitted. MoT next.

I don't think the yellow colour shows properly through these pictures.

A month before, I thought it was only about 10 days.
