Advisories were:
"Slight play in osf wheel bearing" which I was half suspecting as this is a new garage doing the MoT, I spoke to the tester before hand and asked his views on end float in Timken bearings, he totally understood "As long as they're not too baggy, I'll pass 'em" he said, which is in total contrast to the previous garage Tester who said he wouldn't tolerate end play in wheel bearings - as a result I used to tighten them up and the then loosen them once back home with a pass.
The other advisory was on "slight play in steering coupling" which was fitted around 3 years ago and is a repro one that when I got it I thought looked puny, I have since obtained a nice beefy NOS BL one which can now go on that I have a death certificate for the old one.
New needles and jets fitted, oil change, coolant flush, brakes cleaned out, so already for another 12 months of Dolomite motoring.
