Today saw the o/s cill bottom fitted. Didn't really need a new one but we thought it would match the other side better.

Did you just put that over the top of the old one or did you cut the old one out?

I was wondering what the "treatment" of the old was for if you were cutting it out...

Yea jon it is over the top mate. We should have replaced it when we did the outer cills but doing it on the floor we decided we would patch it. Now that the car is on the rollover we decided to fit the new one but it would Have meant removing the new outer cills we fitted. So the rust was cut out and the rest treated then we fitted over the top.

This is tonight's work.

What primers and paints are you using Rich? That milky stiff looks like some stuff I use...

No paints or primers yet Jon. Just two coats of hydrate80 rust killer:)

Tonight saw us start to close off the n/s arch. Did more than this but I forgot to take pictures.

Also fitted one more piece to that. And Robert done some filling on the o/s arch that I forgot to take pictures of. Will get some tomorrow!

Oh also that stuff on the wing is called cold front. It's supposed to stop the panel from warping with the heat of welding. It's better than the other side but still warped a little:(

Ok so yesterday and today we tackled the n/s a pillar which had a small ish hole in it.

Which very quickly went down hill into rather a large hole!
