Cheers Lewis, I am going for a polished alloy crank trigger wheel and some vernier pulleys although they wont be obvious, Trying to keep the vermillion/black roof look about the engine bay, hence the black paint work.
As for the rad, I needed a new one and why not a non corrosive alloy custom fit one, not cheap mind.
Its booked in at hayward and scott for the most expensive custom exhaust in the world, pictures to follow.
Check out my billett steel lightened flywheel

One piece propshaft

C20XE engine conversion.
graeme I admit I am just throwing money at the car to get it finished, if I qibble about cost of this or the cost of that it simply will not get finished and I will be left with a half finished car. Its worked out quite well as I knew I would not have the time to do this and a good friend has started his own business, when I mentioned the engine conversion he was more than keen to do it and use it as a promotional tool for promoting his business and showing what he can do.
He specialises in alloy fabrication, welding, radiators/intercoolers etc etc, he is a very talented man and general car nut.
By the way its Carrera Custom Design House 01284 388522
The propshaft was made by a triumph specialist believe it or not over suffolk way, cost about £200 ouch, I can get a number for you if you want.

Can he knock up an uprated rad for a sprint for me?eightiesflamer wrote:graeme I admit I am just throwing money at the car to get it finished, if I qibble about cost of this or the cost of that it simply will not get finished and I will be left with a half finished car. If so how much and what capacity would it be over the original sprint item.
PM me if you wish

£200 sounds like a decent price if it was a properly fabricated item. But its probably peanuts compared to those tasty looking throttle bodies your engine is wearing!
Its still another one of those bits I need to sort.
Keep up the good work, albiet your completely cheating by paying someone else!
Did you use the getrag manta 1.8 gearbox or are you using something easier to get hold of?

I had all the intentions of doing the conversion myself, I removed engine and box, drove all over the country sourcing all the bits, have made untold amounts of phone calls organising stuff, then spoke to a friend that snatched it away from me in exchange for an agreed sum, that and the fact that it is simply easier for me to do overtime, earn extra money and pay to have car done to a better standard than I would have got it too.
Manta gretag box indeed, spigot bearing bush, billet flywheel, custom balanced prop, standard 230 cover and manta 230 friction plate.
These are direct to head throttle bodies which cost an absolute fortune, couldnt be bother d with mis matching bike bodies, alot of them will not work anyway, cost per hassle the direct to head throttle bodies are the way to go.
Engine bay being painted at the mo, will update soon with some pics.
