Well here it is, all but finished. I want to get some better badges and Mary is in the middle of refurbing my driver's door card (yes Mary has actually done something on this car, I never thought she would  ).

Okay, Mart - someone has to ask it, so I may as well be the first....when are you starting on your next Dolly resto, and what colour will it be? :woohoo: (well it's been a while since you finished the last one... )

Thanks peeps. MoT test tomorrow... [-o<

As for another project...I've gone from "I'm not doing another" to "I may do another".

How about that lovely metallic Lilac job, currently selling for peanuts on ebay?

Nah. Not that it's my business in the slightest but I'll keep nudging you towards something like this. Much better prospect of turning a profit.

Maybe I'll get a GT6 one day Julian.

Anyway, failed MoT test...

1. Dipped beam headlight aim too low (both sides).

2. Horn not working.

3. Offside indicator was interfering with the side light as the dividing plate had gone awol.

They didn't have time to look at it at the garage so I picked it up just after five. Sorted it. Took it back down by twenty to six. Horn was working fine when I tested it.

Did they test it by pressing the steering wheel boss? :D

Hooray! I've got an MoT cert. The mechanic said I got the headlight aim nearly cock on. :D

I suppose I'd better take it apart again now. :woohoo:

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.
