Looks to sit about the same as mine, standard at the rear, down an inch at the front.
Engine bay shots please!

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.

Sorry for the thread hijack Matt!

Yes, I'm afraid Lotus Éclat wheels are a non-starter too, being 114.3mm PCD also. PM to remind me, I will have three sets of period alloys up for sale in coming days. :D

Nice to see something different and the Fiat mod seems a good one.

I ran a Talbot Sunbeam rally car for several years with an Alfa Romeo twin cam engine and that was an easy mod. Cheap too for much the same reasons as the Fiat, the cars vanished in a pile of rust but the engines were bullet proof. We had 145bhp at the wheels for not much money which has to be good.

cheers for the replies guys.

as for the wheels as Jim said they are 13x7 et 7

and they don't scrub at all, perfect fitment really. and my car looks at a strange ride height on the angle of those pics. I'll get some shots on flat ground but i have 1" crossmember-ground at the front and 2" arb-ground at the back.

think its a good 2" lower all round if not more. I'm just running spax adjustable shocks at the Mo and on the look out for stiffer springs

Well Its about time I updated this. Been having a few issues with the home computer but finally able to get my pictures on again. Here are a selection of photos of how the car sits now. I have been driving it daily since the engine swap and everything seems to be great!

I do however need a new upper column joint if anyone has one lying around, oh and a steering boss too!

I'll get a few more showing the engine bay better!

cheers for the comments. I think there cobra classics, there the bog standard mini buckets with headrests. they suit the interior and I may keep my head if I'm rear ended.

This is one of my favourite cars on here, thanks for the new photos, made made feel that my 6x13s arnt wide enough and my already lowered suspension isn't low enough!!

Haha yes, no matter whats fitted I always seem to think it would look much better a bit lower and a bit wider!

Since these pictures were taken I have changed my column upper uj and shortened my traction arms by 10mm and it has transformed the handling. Much better feel and self-centering of the wheel!

One thing I would like to fix though is how inaccurate my speedo now is. Would anyone know if these can be recalibrated or adjusted? Or if the other speedos from the range will give me a better reading.

I currently have the 100mph speedo with the 3 lights within it for indicators, oil and charging. But when I am driving at 50 it is showing 70 :(

Any Ideas?

Cheers
