Hello all.
First let me introduce myself. My names Jon. I'm 33 years old and live in Suffolk. I currently have an 1965 Ford Anglia 105e, and a Civic Type R FN2, but here's the thing. I'm ready for a change and am "considering" selling the Anglia to start a project. I dont know if it's been done before but im looking at maybe a Vtec, from an S2000, into a Dolomite. i built my Anglia to a period spec with a crossflow on twin 40's, so it'd be nice to maybe try something newer. I'm a machine shop supervisor for Caterham technology innovation, (previously Caterham F1) So i have all the equipment and some great people around to help at the difficult bits. My wife had our first baby 4 weeks ago, so i feel after this year it's be a great time to start on a project.
So generally ATM im collecting all the info and parts here and there and speaking to a few people to see if it's a viable project. All thoughts welcome and appreciated. I nearly brought a dolomite about 8 years back, but instead went with a mkII Cortina. (I later sold that to my old boss) As i felt i just knew Ford better, but im definitely ready for a change and to learn something else.
A few photo's of my current fleet.
