I know what I'd do. I'd sell the Rover V8 lump and take it back to 1850 auto spec. There are no shortage of offers so it would be worth taking somebody up on one of them.

Jim, how many 1850 autos have you had? I know you were one of the previous owners of mine. I know there's not much left of the actual car you had but that's another story!

There are plenty of ohv engined cars that can have a V8 conversion stuck in them later.

This is an early golden oldie and should be put back to a decent ohc spec....

David, I've had three 1850 Autos: your early car (in spirit, perhaps?) and two late models on 'V' plates. All of them brown: one Sienna, two Russet. Loved them all, definitely the best car of all our models.
