Hello again folks. It finally happened, I have turned to The Dark Side and have obtained a S****t. Yes, a S****t!

Well, more accurately a large S****t shaped jigsaw puzzle. It comes with no instructions, a couple of rust issues and a large box full of part including a S****t engine that was a good'un before removal and storage.

Have mercy upon me. I have now dug out the mothballed imperial spanners, sockets black wooly TDC logo'd hat and grinder.

Who can I blame? Well, lets try Colin for starters shall we. Well, I did make him buy an MGF, Funny old world ain't it.

My aim? Track day car perhaps, well a road legal one anyway. I also want to paint it Inca yellow. Sorry Colin.

Ken x

Welcome to slant-4 ownership Ken. Once you've had an OHC engined Dolly, there's no going back. When I had my you-know-what, I went to work in it every day. I was working for a plant hire company and there were no main roads and a few country road on my route to work so I could (ahem) "enjoy" my you-know-what. My current wallpaper on my desktop PC at home is the you-know-what.

No doubt, you will have lots of questions so just ask away.

Ooh Ken, you've got a Splint!
I'm sure you'll bandage it together and it'll end up nice and straight.
I hope the recovery from the Splint doesn't take too long and you don't bleed too profusely.

Questions? Oh there will be loads of questions, mostly about my sanity.

Work will commence soon enough and will focus on the bodywork. Just tidying and protecting initially.

Mega questions (when it comes to the oily stuff) will be posted.

Need to pester Colin to see if he has a workshop manual (think he might) and if so then some photocopying will ensue

J, no comments? Most unlike you :woohoo:

I thought I was only being a little cryptic.

I haz Spr*nt. Actually a Spr*nt project. Very projecty.

I have previously been a OHV person but now have entered the dark and slightly scary world of sl*nt ownership. See I can't even bring myself to say Sprint or slant yet. Oh, oops. Arse.

Next to that beige colour...... Honeysuckle (doh), and Powder Blue, Inca is my fave yellow colour.

J isn't posting as I may have declined to pay any recent maintenance money for Marty Bear

NOOOOOOOOOO, ARRRGGGHHHHH, Satin's blood and all that. Don't do it Ken, please don't . :snivel: :snivel: :snivel: :snivel: :snivel: :snivel: etc etc.

But I have to say with only 'a couple of rust issues' that is one rare sprout you have acquired.

Ahh hold on folk's, I have just realised what has been happening here.
Our Ken has been abducted by Aliens and replaced with a malfunctioning clone or the only other explanation is that Ken's head injury is even worse than I thought, nope I'm going with the abduction theory.

Ken do you REALLY think you are up to Sprint ownership?

If not, bring it over here and I'll sort it all for you....and find you a nice Toledo to swap with...

(Ash have you polished it yet? Ken's on his way over....)
