no baffles inside as my metal tank has none either,so tried to keep it the same
did original dolly tanks come with baffles? ive got 77 and 80 both have no baffles
not sure on volume of tank but cant be far off 57L/12.5gallons,il be happy with 50L tank, saves on carrying excess fuel

just measured the tank, and calculated on website convertor that the tank is 44.6L,so lost 12L,that includes the mod to be done

There aren't any baffles as such but there is a small container within the tank where the sender sits which acts as a baffle for the sender unit.

It does look quite nice though I think if I were fitting an alternative tank I'd look to fit a foam filled jobbie for safety, the tank is in just about the worst position in the event of a rear bump.

The reason you would have small container inside the tank by the pick up,is when you get low on fuel,it will slosh about and could loose the fuel around the pick up pipe, and the car could cut out as no fuel would be pumped

AS OE the tank capacity was 12.5 gallons....nice long range at 40 mpg.

There should be baffles around the tank sender flat arm, which makes fitting it a bit of an art, but worthwhile to stop it
flopping up and down too quick as the level drops and the fuel sloshes around.

steering knuckle lower part rubbers were gone, cracked and few have gone somewhere  got new poly`s ready to fit,but for now carmine-dolly has no steering, browny spot on now 8)
then...the drivers bottom ball joint start making a noise, changed that from carmine-dolly and all mint, got new ones here ready to fit,but first...mod to fit grease nipple
