Well we have commenced works on the rear off side wing with a view to recycling the wheel arch repair panel using the new short wheel arch repair from the club and the lower wing repair section also from the club.

The existing wheel arch repair panel is reasonably sound after we removed a ton of filler.

Found multi layered armoured plating the inner arch is practically laminated with previous welding repairs which unprotected in the arch are rusting badly.

These will all be cut out to put a inner arch repair section in.

The boot floor also needs doing this side we may also replace the door shut to give the returns back.

Thanks Tony. Much appreciated, hoped to have it all done by now but the failed search for a off side rear wing has caused some delays.

Still chasing rust around the car. Top of the off side sill box is a little crusty.

As the body work is taking a while and the dust layer on the car gets ever deeper I thought it time to get something shiny to give myself a lift that one day it will all come together so here it is, apologies if its already been seen on face book

The gold looks superb

How were they done, gold, black then polished?

They would look great on a Carmine car with gold coachlines!

I would remove the paint from the mating face of the wheel nuts though, would hate to see you loose a wheel!
