RBRR, off the reserve list, payment made, hopefully the car is tuned up and ready by then.

Fantastic! Tim Bancroft (the organiser) estimates that there will be approx. 20 withdraw between now and the event... so we should be joining you at some point!

Have not done much due to flu type recurring symptoms.

But since the car was on the rolling road, the idle revs have slowly kept dropping down, probably due to warming up and not driving.

As none of the settings have been adjusted or tinkered with, and the fact there are no more
points, the only items which may differ in any way are the spark plugs.

So took them out this morning, and run them in the ultrasonic cleaner around 5 times, will put back later and see.

I know plugs are cheap, but they are NGK Iridiums at £28 a set, and I have the cleaner already, so why not.

Plug cleaning did not help, but putting the old BP6ES helped,
however the problem has been traced back to splitting fuel lines, again !

Indeed, but I want to attach a motor directly to the dolly regulator, the universal
kits are a bit plasticky.

The reason for the pics is, I need to see the gear to allow correct ordering of a motor,
but there were no decent pics on the net, (plenty of indecent).

Still none the wiser until I drill the rivets off and remove the crank handle box, unfortunately
the regulator Steve has sent me seems to be in better looking condition than my own, so I
will swap over tomorrow and then remove the box.

The throttle linkage has always been an eyesore, a cleanup was inevitable.

Have to paint it, I done clear laquer on the oil filter, and it has not lasted even with
the sump protector plate.

Take a look at a Panther Rio door, they extended the arm rest to cover an external motor over the standard handle spindle, and incorporated the switchgear in it too.

Mahesh, check out triple tango's Sprint thread HERE. He fitted electric windows and the some of the photos show how he fitted the regulators to the doors. I've just fixed all the Photobucket links so you shuld be able to see the photos.

What a coincidence, the same door grommets, and central locking.

Also the same idea I have for the clutch cylinder with reservoir,.
