Today I've dry fitted the front wing with screws and sorted out the inner valance. Welded in the front valance and fitted the headlight mounting plate. Just got the eye brow to finish off on the driver's side and weld the wing on.

Welcome to the Forum! Unfortunately the person who started this topic is no longer a forum member and hasn't been on here for nearly three years, so is probably not going to answer your question. However, if you stick around maybe someone else might be able to reply. |

So after many years I'm back on to getting the dolomite going. Unfortunately I left it too long sitting on bad ground and the underside has really suffered. I've managed to get the eninge running and checked drive train over and have acquired a new shell to transfer all the parts to. I will keep adding to this thread and hopefully people will keep enjoying it. |

Started to strip donor shell down. Front seats and carpets out. Heater matrix and gearbox tunnel removed. Handbrake lever removed. Front half of wiring loom taken out. Also got most of the parts out of the engine bay. Just clutch master cylinder and insulation to go. There's a small rust hole under where the brake master cylinder is and an on old repair on the throttle pedal mount that's going to need some attention.

A bit more progress on the green shell. Got it pressure washed and finished stripping the engine. Git a few holes in the firewall and left hand side behind strut mount. Left hand bonnet mount also needs a repair but apart from that engine bay is pretty solid.

That's a real shame given the work you put into it

I've got the front and rear windows out and the chrome off the car without damaging or twisting it so hopefully it will go back on. Only a bit of surface rust around front window. Also put my best boot lid on and adjusted to fit properly.
