Take note of the camber shims on the old subframe....behind the top wishbone mounting.

Hi Mikey,

Much appreciated for that, not teaching me to suck eggs at all - your never too old or have enough experience to learn!! Yes indeed it was media blasted, my garage man is really good and old school, and he said upon delivering it to him he was going to remove the gauze and make triply sure theres no trace of any media left. All sound advice and i appreciate the info greatly :-)

Fantastic work being done here. Looks amazingly solid and rust free for a car that's been in Scotland most of it's life, I'm not far from Elgin myself and the sea air is deadly! Clearly it's been well cared for. :)

Dolly is coming on. The engine paint / rebuild and refit has began. The bay has yet to be cleaned, but it shall be well underway this week and the garage report an ETA to completion of this weekend. Fingers crossed!!

Much appreciated indeed for the kind words mate, means a lot!! Yes indeed she has survived incredibly well, 42 years in Scotland and only 3 months down south, she back home up North!! Itching to get her back now, garage have given at ETA of this weekend so fingers crossed!!
