Cheers chaps...and now it's taxed which took about ten minutes to sort which I'm astonished with!! So, went out for a pretty unpleasant hour listing for the impending engine blow up or the bit where the temp gauge goes to the top! ;)

It's running very rich though I do plan a rolling road session soon, and the capillary temp gauge kept jumping up 10 degrees or so , so I'm assuming an air lock...The electric controller temp gauge stayed constant so who knows?

The other blemish was the overdrive that kept dropping out and eventually wouldn't engage at all. I'm thinking electrical to start with....and my God, but that gearbox is noisy!!
