After spending an hour or so on KDF tonight (removed boot lid, trim & fuel tank) I made a short list of parts required to date:-
  • New roof panel
    2 front wings
    4 doors
    Bonnet
    Boot lid
    Headlight panels
    Left hand sill/cill
Right rear lower wing repair panel
Right hand chassis leg (maybe able to plate it)
Welding rquired
  • Right hand drainage channel (boot) non-existant
    Various patches on boot floor
    Small patch on bulkhead
Both sides of front windscreen scuttle need repairs
I will hopefully finish stripping it by the end of next weekend (taking time out to watch the F1 GP of course) and will make a decision on which way to proceed after that.

Mart, I have 4 doors, boot and bonnet in Inca. I might have a sill too, but I'll have to get back to you on that one.

Thanks for your offers guys, but I have decided not to restore KDF after all. See this thread:- viewtopic.php?t=4250

If someone else can take it off my hands & give it a go, PM me. Or if someone can store it for me FOC for a year or so... :D I have another project on the way so need to shift it.

Rich, nice colour, might be saveable!
