Good work mate!!

The side of that car has gone from 20% prepped to 99.9% prepped in 24hrs!!

Just remember mate you haven't got to prime the whole car, aslongs as the old paint is keyed up, new paint will stick to it!!

Keep going mate, one day nearer completion, ill be going to the paint guy next week and ordering your paint at this rate!!

Crikey, isn't bodywork boring!!!

I hate it when i start getting bored, so i went back to my wheels in an effort to see some quicker results to hopefully re-ignite my enthusiasm..

Not sure i'm using the right stuff here, but this was achieved in 15 mins with 100 grit sand paper and Brasso  :D :D

That's a good start Dave but you want to gradually work your way up to 1200 or 1500 grit & then some Autosol.

You can do. I just use plain water.

Bit of advice required here please people..

Font of the headlight mounts look ok, and for that matter are pretty solid with NO movement or wobbles at all..

But, the back is a different matter....

Will we get away with plating this up for the MOT, or are we best stripping it all out and replacing the lot??

LD was also holey in the same rectangular section (below the headlight). I plan to use a bit of fibreglass matting to be honest (after I'd rustproofed it all).

Keep going Dave :D

That Nathan fella turned up again today with a pressie for me :P

Think i've found you a colour for Patch he says waving an aerosol can in the air, and then promptly sprays in the front wing with it
We're that impressed with it that we spend the next 2 hours hunting around the city for some more cans of the same paint, and eventually after clearing out the local autofactors ENTIRE stock, we clear off back home to blow the rest of patch in..

This is'nt the top coat or anything you understand, merely a clue as to what patch is gonna look like when we set about him for real :D

The 3 of them together - Patch, patch's mate BUD, and Tessa

Not bad at all. However, my personal preference would be for a darker blue.... just my opinion

Taking shape though 8)
