Only half an hour away...I could come and break down amusingly in the paddock (my 1850 has a 100% failure rate when it's parked in a field) and moan about how long I'm taking to fix mine.

I've done some work on a DC3 at Hullavinton, lots of peri track that was as slick as hell (steering on the lock stops) as soon as it was even remotely damp. Sounds like you'll have a good time :D

I've just come on to this section to ask you lot when you are doing your next track day to find out it is today!

Anyone up for one in a month or 2? After my failure at Germany I've still got an urge to give the Saab some stick on track

Looked like a good circuit, nice to see you catch the beemer, did you get past him?

Having a good shake down of mine now after trip to TDCIR

(i) Located misfire to plug to No 1 missing its end cap (yes, that's right, the guy who finished my engine put in a set of old spark plugs!)
(ii) Relocating oil cooler away from front of rad
(iii) Rear carb running much richer than front by state of plugs.

Once I've dealt with these I hope the over heat will be cured and then finally to the rolling road...

Glad your getting there Alun.
No I did not pass the Beemer as you can see it was a close scrap and he was not going to let me, so I pulled in (he knew he was beaten) I spent the last lap coasting behind him once he was caught 8)
