Yep, I intend to get started on mine in February. A few things need doing as well as needing an MoT test. Then off to the rollers again to get my Megajolt setup properly.

Best get my finger out as well, new cam and megasquirt injection Is the plan. Don't think I will get the injection finished by march, will have to use the carbs for that.

Whats your plan there Paul. I've got almost all the parts for a Megasquirt conversion, a pair of Rover 25 throttle bodies fitted to an inlet manifold so far. trigger wheel still to mount, injectors to fit to manifold, fuel rail to build and submerged fuel pump to fit. then I can think about putting it all in the car. that's ok course after I get my finger out, do the welding it needs, fit the new rack and master cylinder and actually get the thing MOTd after six months off the road

My car is already running megajolt, so I already have the trigger wheel and sensor fitted. Not as far as you on the thottles, Doing a similar thing as you but using thottles of a DOHC sierra. These are a 48mm thottle made by weber. Just got to make the mounting plates I then plan to use the normal dolomite twin su linkages and cable. The injectors will be mounted in the manifold with a custom fuel rail. Not ordered the rail or injector inserts yet as as they are from the states. Fuel pump wise i also was planing to use a sub pump, but have got no further with that. Have you sorted a pump setup yet? Ifso what, and have you put baffles in the tank etc. What engine are you putting it on and what spec. Mine is ported etc head 3 angle valves, Str091 cam on a lighted and balanced bottom end. Handy to know someone else is doing the same could be handy for maps etc.

Done that injection conversion 15 years ago, works great, smooth and powerfull, the engine is standard. Had ones the 2' place on a SODIT meeting 1997
That car will get the engine out of my racing car what was in fact not a racing, but a very strong street engine 180 Din and 220Nm at the wheels. Curently convert that engine back with a normal flyweel, sump etc.
Going back from 45DCOE to 40 trotlebodys and a mild exhaust I expect 165, but we will see.

This engine is going in my street car, hoping for fun.

Yes indeed it is a rare treat to get let loose on the full Gran Prix circuit, hence very popular, must be a bit boring in a standard MGB though as the local hares blast past you!
To book you have to get on the mgs-on-track site register and pay.
Jon & Diane have done so :D

The swarm is going to be damned fast if its not raining!

Gone back up to 16 places left now. Some of the MG guys were booking in the "mixed marque" section.

Signed up for this - should be good. It will be good to see some of these fabled cars in the metal, although I'm sure I'll come away wanting to spend a lot more money on my car than I should...

I have to say that website is one of the worst I have encountered for navigational ease!

Now to sort the car out!
