Cleaning up some video stuff I found quit a few in car videos of the time we where very busy with racing, and also visited the UK a few times to see for example Nigel Garret racing.
Having the old Hi8 analog tapes is one, put it into the computer is (for me anyway) something different, I still don't have a proper converter but with a lot of cables, a 2' computer and some luck I manage to make this first attempt. took me 4 evenings though.
The real Hi8 data is pretty good, this outcome not, but it give an impression, I might buy a proper converter soon.

The 1' video is the start of the 1' time practice, what is red flagged already the 2' lap. (a guy with a Porsche powered VW did put it upside down direct after the hill)
The 2' is 1.5 laps midway the practice.

We still did use the old engine, Sprinspares had build, the engine had standard Mahle pistons, rally cam and 45. I tried as best I could at those days to get the bugs out. Now seeing it back I must sea it had to take quite some revs, Wineke, my wife just floored the bloody thing.
(A year later the pistons did not take her treatment anymore, a meager blowup was the result, I have that one on a tape to. After that blowup we started to build better racing engines)

Hope you like it.

Thanks Hans I loved the howl from the engine and the top end seems very brisk indeed.
