I could not decide where to post this topic, could have been "Dolomite Related", "General Chat", "Restoration Projects", but it has been a bit slow here so what the heck.

This is possibly a question for the anoraks.

What was the "Official Colours" used on the factory race cars? I know that they were White/Blue/Red, but does anyone know what shade of White/Red/Blue was used. The Dolomite White (19) is very cream in colour, but the factory white seemed brighter, so does anyone know the answer??

Thanks

Mark

Yes I have a Leyland ST document with the Leyland International Motor Sport Livery, printed by The Nuffield Press (# 91445).

Colours are stated as follows:

WHITE - Brilliant White
RED - Signal Red 537/BS381/C
BLUE - Aircraft Blue108/BS381/C

I can't recognize the colournumbers as Triumph colournumbers, but hope this is of help to you 8)

Cheers,
