DVLA, they say YES!

The enquiry is complete
The vehicle details for JYD 135T are:

Date of Liability 01 06 2011
Date of First Registration 19 06 1979
Year of Manufacture 1979
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1998CC
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type Petrol
Export Marker Not Applicable
Vehicle Status Licence Not Due
Vehicle Colour GREEN
Vehicle Type Approval
Vehicle Excise Duty Rate for vehicle
6 Months Rate £112.75
12 Months Rate £205.00

Currently showing either tax or sorn. If you have any old MOTs for it (for the serial number, though a V5 serial number would work just the same), then you can check whether it's tested and, if it is, chances are that's not a sorn.

It's taxed - else the Vehicle Status would be listed as SORN Not Due :)

I hope so, I restored it! :D

It now resides in Newport, South Wales (has done for the past 4-5 years). But I do know that it had a front end prang at the end of last year.

There are a few pics of the resto here:- http://www.dolomitesprint.com under past projects (sorry about the corny write-up).

Hi and thanks to everyone who responded to my query about Dolomite Sprint JYD135T. I'm glad to see it still survives and have brilliant memories of this car. I was living in Bristol when I sold it, I think in 1988 and think it went to someone in the Weston Super Mare area. What a fantastic response from you in such a short time, again many thanks.

That'll be me then Roger. When I bought it off you, the front indictors were off & maybe some more bits, as you had been doing a little resto work. I owned it for over 17 years.
