Diane and I will def do this one and anyone who is not a member and would like to participate should think of joining Club Triumph as well as the TDC 8)
Cost is £160 and the sound level is 98 DB and they will stop any one who has a car that exceeds this.

Beware doing Goodwood. They only allow 5 cars on track at a time & usually start sessions every 15 minutes. You get about 10 minutes running wach time but if it is a busy day you may not get back on for 2 hours.

it's usually 10 cars on track at 98db, 5 cars is at a sensible noise limit

It is 10 cars and 2O min sessions as there are only a max of 30 cars taking part. I for one will be there as it is such a nice track. Just got to make sure you don't do anything wrong as there Is no run off or gravel traps to speak of.

The only track that is exactly as it was in the fifties 8) Before loads of chicanes were put in to slow cars down as has been done at other tracks.

Yep I agree but it was never used for prestige events like Goodwood was, the long straights and fast bends make Goodwood an old GP type circuit that all the greats raced at.
Castle Combe, Mallory, Pembury and Anglesea are starter circuits :D
Premier circuits are Silverstone, Brands, Donnington and Goodwood.

Thruxton??????

I enjoyed goodwood in my Sprint arbeit 15years ago, there were loads of classics there too. Not as fast as Donnigton mind.
I do remember going off in one of my mates Spints at 80 or so broadside over the grass, it even wedged Grass in the tyre rim! We all drove home mind
