Dolomite wins again STC championship. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

My friend Jochum Bunkus (Hamburg) wins for the 2' time the overall STC championship in his Dolomite over Porsche's GT40 even a Viper in that very competitive field.
The battle went on till the very last of 2 races on the Nurburg ring.
His clas rival a Honda S2000 280hp did just win the first race, lap 10 you can see the Sprint passing the S2000.
In the very last race (same weekend) Jochum manage to beat the S2000, he needed that win not only to take the 2 liter but also the overall championship.

There are only 2 laps inboard at the Hockenheim ring to give a good impression of the speed and roadholding of this Dolomite, excellent driver too.

It is completely mind boggling that he is still able to beat more illustrious machinery (no offence of course!) with that car.
Big respect. Amazing.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.

Amazing. That is one car I would love to see in the flesh one day. Congratulations Jochum.

For us lazy Brits who never learn languages here's a translation of the magazine article.

Just out of interest, what was the fastest lap time for the Sprint around the Nurgburgring? All in all, a phenomenal result. Congratulations! Regards KC.
