Hello all

It was a couple of weekends ago, but here some pics and a youtube link for those who may be interested. Had another brilliant weekend - definitely the highlight of the year (I say that every year!) Just a brief rundown of the event again. Albany is a town about 400kms south of Perth. Each year they host a weekend of motorsport, which includes a Saturday hillclimb and a recreation of motor racing around the streets of the town on the Sunday. We trailered the car down on Friday, spent some good pub time on Friday night, hillclimb Saturday morning, more pub time Saturday afternoon and evening, racing all day Sunday before a very big night at the pub and home on Monday. For me personally, best weekend of motorsport I think I've had. Went really well in the hillclimb with third fastest time in the morning session. The video posted was my second run. Unfortunately forget to switch the camera on for the fast third run which was about a second and half quicker. The racing on Sunday was brilliant, but you'll have to take my word for it, as the Go Pro played up and I have no footage. From where I sat, it would have been good to watch. Had a lot of fun playing with big Holdens, Porsches and Escorts in all four of my races. Again the car took a few by surprise. I do like the comment from other drivers after the race has finished about how well it goes (and stops!) My Sprint is about four seconds a lap slower than the fastest of the cars running, and there are some very big money cars competing. This is a link to the photographer who captured all the cars competing for those interested in having a look. There are some fabulous cars. http://www.tracksnap.net/p32541766http://youtu.be/22YGVQVA9Ys

what an outstanding collection of cars, just so many classics and some great machinery in there. Well done on your times. I'm gobsmacked at the collection that this event attracted. Thanks for posting the links to the pics and the vids.

I've fixed the links so I've deleted the other thread. I hardly go in this section of the forum so it was lucky I was here.
