While watching random sh*t on YouTube I came across THIS vid. There is 1850HL with Sprint alloys in Inca at 8 minutes in the video.

Anybody on here?

I don't know about you but I find myself getting very tense watching that stuff. Can't be good for my heart I am sure.

Was tempted to say the same. 80% of those videos had two problem drivers - instigator or causee and compounder or non-defensive driver.
Can open, worms everywhere, time to leave the scene of this one....

Did not read the 1850 bit, and checked to make sure it was not me.

I'm sure to have starred in a few dashcams somewhere :|

Yes Toledo Man,it was me only just seen this post.

to the other people who asked, im more than happy to admit it was me, not sure why i wouldnt? Not happy it happened but thats a different question.

i would just like to say a belated hello as i haven't really had anything to contribute but plenty to learn in reading everything here.

Up until recently i felt like i didnt belong as an an enthusiaist, as i didn't choose Dolomite ownership it chose me, when i couldn't let a car that had been in our family since new get scrapped for parts i set about getting it back on the road 5 years ago.

After 4 years of driving my car as often as possible in preference now to my modern and learning loads from all the great info on here i can officially say 'hello my name is Alan and im a Dollyholic'

regarding the original reason for this post asking if it was anybody on here in the video i suggest you stop reading if you value your time but here goes.

for the 2 judgey Mcjudge faces who have an issue with the contents video with me in it, to the point where i wouldnt admit to it being my car, i offer the following

is it the crime of having Sprint wheels on an 1850

or avoiding being crashed into by lunatic in a silver ford who should have folllowed the dotted lines and ended up going around the inside lane of the roundabout

or being filmed by an idiot looking to position his car to frame his dashcam shot rather than paying attention to the layout of the roundabout. The dotted lines being the route he should have been following and from where he was he should have ended up to the right of me on the roundabout rather than cutting across to the outside lane of the exit.

Welcome to the forum. A lot of 1850 owners put Sprint alloys on. Mine had them when I bought it. It is now on the correct 4.5J steel wheels with the stainless steel trims that the early 1850s had.

Good on you for rescuing a Dolly that has sentimental value. It is amazing what you can find on YT. My own 1850 has been featured on my YT channel and I'm hoping to have some more Dolly content in the not-too-distant future.
