I have a poly inner bush, but I haven't driven on it. The deflection on that bush is very minimal though, and the lower wishbone is very hefty, so it shouldn't cause any stress issues.

Hi Chris, I too have changed them to poly. The Superflex make has a 3 year guarantee. The metal ones had to be pressed out, but I used a large nut and bolt with 2 large washers to put the poly's in. Then used a vice to push the stainless tube into the center.. Havn't driven on them yet..will find out soon. 8)

Re: Poly Bushes

hi

Just pushed out old bushes / ball joints on inner lower wishbone. To replace with poly bush. The original bush had cupped washers one either side - Theses appear to not fit the poly bush. Do i need to get 4 flat washers to pack it out either side of bush when assembled in replacement of cups?

please help

Hi Chris.. No need for the washers, they are only for the bearing type joint to stop grit ect. The poly is slightly wider to compensate for the lack of washers. It will be a nice snug fit..poly bush, insert stainless sleeve, and the job's a good 'un.. :)

Hi Thanks for the help. I'll let you know what it's like when fitted and the car is back on the road.
