OHV engine - non-O/D gearbox and Sprint axle - will it fit and what prop would be needed?

You need the late Sprint prop with the plunge bit at the diff end.

I've got one but sadly not for sale...too far from you anyway,

At the front end the normal prop is teh same for o-d and non o-d cars.

Why waste a Sprint diff behind an ohv engine?

It's mid-conversion and would be the easiest option. Would an 1850 O/D prop work?

The Sprint prop will be too short in the front section for the OHV engine and box. I would try a Toledo prop, its front section is good for the OHV unit and the slider is in the rear section which will (just) compress far enough to accomodate the longer Sprint diff.
