Anyone seen this recently? DVLA indicates it's still around (tax due Jul 2009). Was originally Inca but now listed as Blue.

Intriguing! Do tell!

All I know is that it used to be yellow, and lived in Chippenham. That would be about 10 years ago I guess.

I's a true horror story alright.
Just pipping in to say that almost all of its parts will go to keep others going strong.

I cant find the story with a quick search
A sad sad story when you hear it.

I have a lot of the mechs here including engine, o/d box, exhaust etc. All awaiting use sometime in the future.

Didn't something happen to the shell when it went to be sprayed?

Safe to say many parts have been donated so others can live! :)

Clearly the 'end to end' story is not "WTHAOT" challenges. The tale end is a sad but easy to recall tale for which we all felt for Hutch when it all went up in smoke.

The intriguing bit is the 'was once yellow'. I can't recall Hutch, having stalked down what appeared to be a fine example of the model in Pageant, telling us all that it statrted life as Yellow but has had 'a very good colour change ' :?: ..........

Malc. IMO and I dare say Mart's (who went to look at it for me, before I travelled down), it had a damn site more than a colour change!! To say I was surprised when I got the Heritage Certificate thru, would be somewhat of an understatement!!

Not much trace of Inca here

or here

A damn thorough colour change if ever I saw one!! Couldn't be any other explanation could here? :?

Believe me that's not the case at all. I have the photos here, will scan tomorrow and upload. Was reshelled from yellow into another yellow shell in around 2000.

Ok here we go. Those of you who don't like cruelty to Dolomites should probably look away now.
