Possibly the best decision you ever made I think!

Save it for a better one :)

If Jonners Sprint is worth £300 then surely this can't be worth anything near? This has been off the road for about 3-5 years I think...

Maybe we can come to some kind of arrangement Alun. What poorly Sprints you got you want to get rid of for cheap :P

Well I reckon it'll go for about 150-200~.

Jonners car is priced to sell and it's going to be an honest car as he's told you all the flaws with it and what it's not - if he eBayed it, he may well make more money but he's offered it to the gentle folk at the TDC instead! Saves him hassle with dodgy eBayers, I guess!

....and the people bidding on this are going to, most likely (barring yourself, of course) be bidding blind and I doubt restoration is what's in mind for it!

I hope someone does make something of it though, it'd be a shame to see it given up straight away. Does look like there's the potential for the whole underside to be missing, mind

Maybe this could be the clubs car? You know where they pay for it and I keep it, then come the restoration show someone else does all the work to it? Thinking about it, I havn't even recieved my cut of the £250 we won at this years Restore show...

I'm not sure if I've given up bidding yet. I just keep thinking that I bought my 1850 for £300 which was a solid car and my 1300 for £50 that was about as solid as this Sprint...

Blimey, that's got even more holes in it than my MG Midget!

Be satisfying to bring it back up to A1 consition though...

Adam, ask Alun about Frenchie. I was very interested in it until SFB came along. A fair bit of work to get it on the road mind, but a pretty solid motor. Rare colour to boot.

Looks like a Falcon exhaust as well which are very sought after. I don't think it will go for more than £130 because that hole in the wing looks scary. I reckon you and Richard could do alot worse though.

Richards just lost his job :( and I'd be buying it out of an over draft hoping/guessing I get a job in the not to distant future!

I keep thinking about selling my 1850. I can't see where I'm going with it...

But I really don't want to....

I wouldn't be able to collect yours Jonners.

This Sprint is 15 miles away from my garage which makes it very appealing.

I don't think it'd make 15 miles

(strictly tongue in cheek there :P)
