And, most recently, a visit to a local body shop for a quick spray over the damaged door . . . .

I should have known better really.

Going into primer this week so more pictures to follow. The colour looks right and we have a large pile of bits to put back on, a chance to tidy up headlamps, window rubbers etc where the originals are no longer much use.
More to follow next week.

I absolutely adore this car Polly!

Let me know when it's back and I'll pop over to see you!

Who knows, Paul's car may even be back from Pro-Strip....again! :)

What an amazing car...

It is amazing for so many reasons but I suppose the first reason is that it just looks so darn good...!!!

Please do keep us updated and don't leave it so long this time...

This will be very exciting to see when it's done. Hopefully not too much grot found underneath?

One of my Dolomite-dreams is to see an FRW Sprint 'in the metal' one day so seeing this one getting the love that it deserves is certainly most encouraging...!!! One day, one day...

I will, indeed, be replacing the stripes. Trying to get hold of the guys who did the ones for Paul's Sprint as they are still good after almost 20years.
Mark, do you still need a set? There doesn't seem to be much nasty grot, just lots of little bits that could become big in a couple of years if left. So -- no brainer really.
Entertaining double act doing the work. Highly recommended.

Yes please, I don't have any in stock that are sticky!

Sticky seems a basic requirement!
I will get in touch and order two sets in black.

On another note, been doing some washing up and making new bits.....

Oh Polly! That looks absolutely stunning, I'm so glad that you're giving FRW the TLC that it deserves. I'd never have managed to get it to this condition.
Ian.

p.s. managed to get the 1850 started at last today, just needs a mot now.
