I am not sure if I have put this in the right section, but I wondered if anyone on the forum has a photo of of the above Triumph dealership or if indeed anyone may have worked there. Nothing on Google. it was started in 1937 and closed around 1980 and is now a Co-op. I am interested as my 1850 Auto came from this dealership in 1973. Malcolm |

After being built, my car - CBL809V - was delivered to Eyles & Coxeter in January 1980, but the address on the V55/2 (application for a Licence for a new Motor Vehicle) shows the address as London Road, Newbury, Berks. Same dealer different branch...? However my car must have been the subject of a dealer transfer, as it was sold/registered to it's first owner by Keene Brothers Ltd, of Bath Road, Thatcham Berks on 1st May 1980. That first owner was a company called Z & I Aero Services of Westbourne Grove, London W2. Beejay |

Now there is a name from the past ! Z & I Aero services! I used to spend money there buying valves for the repair of old radios and televisions. They always arrived in distinctive green and black packaging. I'll see if I can find their old adverts. Memories ! Tony. |

Tony that's a great snippet of information. It would be great if you could find anything relating to that company - and to think that your purchases of valves would have gone some way to Z & I purchasing a certain Triumph Dolomite !Memories ! Tony. Cheers, Beejay |
