Halogen headlight units will go straight on (they're 5 3/4" in diameter). My Autopal ones has H4 bulbs for the outers and H1 for the inners. |

And there are a zillion options. I would like to hear from forum members who reckon they have purchased replacements that look like the originals from a cosmetic viewpoint. For me the brightness is not an issue, just how they look. |

For me it's the other way around, my Sprint is driven mainly at night, so brightness is the priority. Having said that I have overdone it, brighter than most moderns now. |

I could not find any link on the internet to Autopal but I did find that Robsport International had GLU537 listed so I ordered a pair and now that they have arrived I see that they are obviously manufactured by Aotopal. They fitted without any problems I just need for it to get dark to check them out but they look fine. The cost at £15 which included the bulb I thought was good. Another alternative is ones made by "Ring" and their website does list local stockist which is useful but I suspect they would have to order them in these days. |

That's an excellent price, it will be interesting to see how good they look. Chris Witor has Valeo items at £42.50 each, no lamp supplied. |

Your lights look really good. If I ever restore a Sprint to keep, I think I'll do that upgrade. |
