MIGHT have to consider the unthinkable, and sell the Sprint. It's insured for £10,500. Back in the REAL world however, what value would be realistic to ask for?

It MUST be worth 10 grand all day long, anyone buying is getting a new car in all but name.I have had the great pleasure of seeing the car a few times and being driven in it and i only wish i could afford to buy it ....then build a huge mantlepiece for it to sit on so i could just sit and look at it

Don't suppose you'd consider a swap for a rather tatty and rusty (and brown) 1500fwd? No? Tight-fisted weegie.... :D
How do you keep the thing so beautifully clean??!! Where's the emoticon for green with envy?

This time of year...

You may see 6.5 to 7k back home...

You'll need to put it in some top classic car auction like Coys to get that and you'll pay them a fair wedge to sell it for you.

Its not worth it. Keep it.

USA would be your best market for this I reckon, two reasons:

1. Far more likely to get closer to its 'value'

2. Far less likely to see some numpty down the road allow it to deteriorate

Thanks for the input folks. Kinda thought somewhere in the £6.5-£7k might be around the mark.

Believe me, selling is very much a last resort. Worked out the car has averaged 343 miles per year since new.

Some more pics if anyone's saving their pennies?

Member in Staffs/NW area sold his to a chap in San Francisco aabout 2 years ago. About a year ago I noticed it was on ebay. He then bought it back. Despite having travelled so far to get to the TDCIR it didn't win the long distance award!
