Heater Box Assembly
Guy's
Does anybody have any photograph's of the internal workings of a heater box assembly for a sprint. Mine has decided to start rattling and I'm wondering what is rattling before I remove it from the car and strip it down.
Cheers
Paul.

Well.......
Hopefully you'll find the source without having to remove the heater assembly.
I would first check the lower flap, this can be done from the passenger side footwell.
Anyhow I have a spare heater assembly which I can photograph tomorrow (if nobody has supplied any photos by then).
Ian.

As requested.........

Also, the view through the top aperture is into darkness

Please let us know how you get on finding the cause of the noise...

I have tried to look inside, very limited in there - more of a touchy feely thing with your fingers and I think due to deterioration of the sealing foam on the air deflection plate, the plates are trembling and touching the heater box internal metal work. Its a strip down and renew the foam seals.
