I'm not knocking this in any way, but i'm pretty sure that replacement of the front rubbers means drilling out the rivet that holds the top of the 1/4 light frame in place, so it would be nice to have a supply of these rivets available too!

the stag club had new Quarterlight rubbers made,ive not taken the quarter light rubbers out of the dolomite yet,but they could be same pattern,but the long and short of it was robsport had them made,they will know where to go if your have trouble getting someone to make them

Off topic, but I do like the idea of the SOC quality 'tick mark' scheme, and judging by the number of posts here and on Facebook asking 'is part x any good?' that it perhaps would not be a bad move for TDC to consider a quality approval system?

what news of the progress in Quarterlight Rubbers?

I need 4 front and 4 rear of them.

Are there any suggestions for any alternatives?

Sorry, my mistake, assumed you are talking about 808956/7 and the T2000 807708/9. Now, what was that thing about assumptions..?

Nonsense.I was confused.I thought that they could do the job.

I'm talking about Front and Rear Quarterlight Rubbers of a Triumph Dolomite 1850-Sprint of course.

Are you sure that T2000 807708/9 is suitable?

are the T2000 707019/20 suitable for the 2 rear Quarterlight Rubbers?

If not , what about the rear Quarterlight Rubbers?

You're not alone in asking, for there is many a thread on just this subject with a few thoughts and ideas.

Personally, I can't guarantee success with any idea yet, as whilst one seal is getting to the point of needing replacing, the rest on my Sprint are in good condition, so all is theoretical. I've read that the T2000 seals are very similar to Dolomite's but just a bit bigger. So if that is true, then taking a T2000 seal and carefully cutting sections out to make it the right size and then glueing it back together seem an option. Glue and seals are not that bad an idea, have a read here for a bit of advice from Seals Direct.
