Okay guys a question.

I concur.

Boy, these are going up in price......
last March I paid £84.09 for one (including £8.45 postage from Germany)!

Dave, it is just the clutch cover that is used.
The one in question is a lightweight version (c.30-40% lighter than standard), the reduction
in rotating mass being desirable since it makes an engine freer revving, giving better pick up (acceleration).

Thanks for the help guys however when I quoted the identifying numbers to a clutch specialist they were unable to help.
So exactly what model of Saab use the same cover?

This is the Saab one I have fitted...can't be sure but it looks like the red lettering is LCNF020020, 025 H107?
With the stamped numbers being 031R 003R.

Might be no use whatsoever, but that's what's on mine....

You must use a Luk one with the partnumber in the link a few posts above. Those are the light ones. When you buy another make cover suitable for that certain saab model you maybe end up with a heavier one. Luk is the major clutch manufacturer so the quality is also very good.

Thanks guys and thanks Jeroen for pointing out the fact that other makes that fit the Saab might be heavier and thus defeating the object of lightening the assembly and so Luk or nothing. The link that Mahony kindly sent shows that the supplier is out of stock!!!

The first time I bought one of they covers it was the same o/s situation,
however they were able to source new stock within a couple of days :D .
Hopefully the same is still the case.....?
