Today I bought my first Manual geared Triumph car having previously had a Auto 1850 and still have my 1500 Auto! Triumph Toledo in Damson.. Had a whale of a time driving it home goes well but something not right with cooling system, Poss head gasket but will investigate more tomorrow. Needs a good clean and Polish and bits and pieces sorting but very excited :D Took a while to get used to the gears..selecting 1st a couple of times instead of 3rd. Wipers are one speed but were ample enough in todays weather. Just about to go out and check lights, my wife was following home and brake lights are good so will keep it short and post pics tomorrow after a good clean hopefully..

Well MOT time this morning and she passed!! After replacing head gasket last weekend I ran out of time to really have a good root around underneath, but tester commented on how solid the car is. Engine sat and idled lovely with no overheating issues and sounded very happy. Couple of small advisories to address but very pleased with the outcome!

I find the dolomite auto a real treat to drive, very smooth and responsive.
