Does anyone have a list of the 1500 Dolomite gear ratios please for a non O/D box ? I've found the 1850 ones in the Haynes Manual. I imagine the same data will also be in the 1500 Haynes manual.
Thanks very much,
Tony.

The Haynes manual gives the single rail (gearbox prefix YD in serial number)
as Top 1:1
Third 1.433:1
Second 2.1119:1
First 3.4118:1
Reverse 3.7529:1

Excellent ! Thanks Richard; Those numbers to the 2nd decimal point are exactly what I've measured on this gearbox I have by counting teeth. So its got 1500 YD type internals.
Its curious because the casing number is a WH 8579, 1850 number, but the bell housing is 1500.
So I'm still on the look out for some 1850 bits.
Cheers Rich;
Tony.

What bits are you still looking for as I have a few but I would have to dig them out before I could tell you.

Hi Richard, That would be great if you do have either of these.
I'm still short of a TKC3001 29 tooth 1st gear ( same as all 1850, 1500 & 1300 single rail boxes )
and
a 33 tooth Reverse synchro sleeve 156911( same as all 1850s , and 1500 and 1300 single rail boxes ).

I'm boggled as to why this hybrid 1500 / 1850 single rail gearbox I have has a 30 tooth 1st gear and a 30 tooth reverse sync sleeve.
Thanks very much,
Tony.

I am sorry Tony that I am unable to help you with those bits.

Richard
