Yet another of those "I'll remember when I put it back together again in a month - 12 years later" things. I have the door glass but I can't quite work out which is the front and which is the back. Based on having replaced a front door when I was having the bodywork done I'm pretty sure that the glass I have three of is the front, but for the sake of confirmation, is the glass in the attachment the rear glass? The only thing that was obvious was that it has a swept up bit at one corner.

I've had the same dilemma today as someone wants a driver's sundym glass, but for the life of me I cannot tell what I have; if you offer the glass up to the car it seems to fit both front and rear, but I do recall there is subtle difference. I will be taking a driver's door apart tomorrow, so then I'll know!

The Triplex markings are nearest the B post on all side glass.( I think)

I would suggest that the swept up part is to clear the wheel arch shape in the back door.

when I stripped my doors I did mark them up o/s/r n /s/f etc a bit late now for you I know.

As often is the case, Justyn is correct, the Triplex markings align to the B post. That with the fact the winder channel clamped onto the bottom of the glass faces inwards will identify where each pane belongs.

Also, as often is the case, Malcolm is correct in that the slight upsweep is for the rear doors, I can now confirm the front doors have a flat bottom line to the glass.
