The seller is very helpful and is trying to reconcile lengths of the 2 rear pipes, so any info would be useful.

Is yours a tandem circuit car then? I kinda assumed it was an early car! Dual circuit was only fitted from late 78 (VA 30000>?) onwards (apart from export cars) Most of the front pipes on a tandem set aren't compatible with a single circuit car.
Front to rear pipe (rear section) lengths are as follows:- Sprint, 1295mm, 1x female and 1x male union, all other models 1189mm, both female unions. All unions are 3/8" unf imperial, the 3 rearmost pipes are common to single and tandem circuit models.

Note, the pipe lengths quoted are my "cutting length" figures, the actual length, once the flares have been made, is around 4mm shorter.
